The first step in the admissions process is to ensure you're on track to complete the admission requirements in time to apply for your preferred term of entry.

Admission Requirements
To apply to the Master of Science in Health Sciences program at WesternU, you should have the following:

  • 90 semester hours or 135 quarter course hours from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. Thirty units must be upper division coursework. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis to applicants holding an advanced professional degree.
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5
  • Minimum graduate GPA of 3.0 (if you have graduate coursework)
  • Computer access and competency
  • Although not required, having earned a BS or BA (in any field) will likely strengthen your application.
  • International applicants or any other applicants who are not U.S. citizens and who are living in the U.S. should be prepared to provide proof of legal U.S. residency at the time of interview.
