This page is offered as a brief description of the application process. If you have additional questions, please contact your Admissions Counselor.

If you have not already done so, please visit the view requirements page for important information on the admissions process and to confirm you’re on track to complete all prerequisite courses and admission requirements for the Fall 2012 application cycle.

If you are applying to transfer into the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific with advance standing, please refer to the transfer applicant page for more information. Please note, transfer application deadlines are different than the standard application deadlines below.

Application Deadlines

Primary Application (AACOMAS) Available: May 1 - February 1
Secondary Application (WesternU) Deadline: Two weeks from receipt of email instructions on how to complete the on-line secondary application(Secondary applications are accepted until the class is filled)

Primary Application
The first step is to submit your primary application to the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS). Visit the AACOMAS website today to confirm primary application procedures and deadlines. The sooner you apply the better as we admit students on a rolling basis.

If you are an international student, you must also have all foreign coursework evaluated by Josef Silney & Assoc. or World Education Services (WES) according to our requirements. This evaluation is sent directly to AACOMAS at the time you file your application. Upon acceptance to COMP, an original evaluation should also be sent to your admission counselor.

Secondary Application

Applicants who meet our requirements are sent an electronic link to the secondary application.

Completion of the secondary application and receipt of all required documents, including MCAT scores are required prior to consideration of applications. Applications not completed within two weeks will result in delayed processing.

Admissions Process
You may use BanWeb to check the status of your application. Log-in information will be provided at the time you are contacted to submit a secondary application. Enrollment Data Services is our on-campus centralized application processing service. It takes 5 to 7 working days for documents to post to applications. A list of frequently asked questions is provided to assist you in completing your application.

We will e-mail you when your application is complete. If the Admissions Committee determines you are eligible to interview, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. We anticipate we will begin interviewing in late September.

We are happy to answer your questions as you navigate through the application process,
so please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help.
