TOEFL Scores
TOEFL is required for all applicants submitting course work from foreign schools. A minimum score of 213 for the Computer Based test or 79 for the Internet Based TOEFL (IBT) test must be submitted by March 1 prior to matriculation. TOEFL scores are valid for two years.

Exception: The TOEFL exam will be waived for permanent and temporary residents of the United States who have completed the English and Speech prerequisites of the College from an accredited institution in the United States.

English courses taken from foreign countries whose native language is English will be accepted (e.g., Canada, Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand and the British West Indies).

The first step in the admissions process for the Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS) program is to ensure you're on track to complete requirements in time to apply for your preferred term of entry. 

To apply to the MSPS program at WesternU, you should have the following:

Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
Official test scores for the general aptitude portion (verbal, quantitative and analytical) of the GRE must be mailed directly from Educational Testing Service to Western University's Admissions Office. Western University's school code is 4152. A minimum score of 1000 combined verbal and quantitative is required. GRE must be taken within the last 5 years.

Test of Spoken English (TSE)
For international applicants only - A minimum score of 50 is required. We must receive your TSE score report by the application deadline if you wish to be eligible for a graduate teaching assistantship. Score report must be an original (not a photocopy) and must be sent directly to us from the testing service. Test of English as a Foreign Languge (TOEFL)
TOEFL is required for all international applicants submitting coursework from foreign schools. A minimum score of 500 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test or 89 on the New Internet Based TOEFL is required. Official TOEFL scores must be submitted at the time of application. TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years.
