Rotation Sites
The College of Podiatric Medicine has already established affiliations with 25 institutions and will continue developing more to maximize your clinical exposure opportunities. Core rotation facilities will be within the greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire areas, and include academic health science centers, county hospitals, and Veterans Administration facilities.

You will participate in key rotations at county teaching hospitals where patients with the most diverse diseases reside. As a podiatric medical student, you will train alongside allopathic and osteopathic students to learn, grow, develop, and hone your skills.

Domestic and International Rotation Options
We already have agreements in Washington, Arizona, and Nevada. In addition, we have affiliations in Southwest Texas, New Jersey, Washington D.C., North Carolina and Michigan.

Dean Harkless, an internationally recognized expert on the diabetic foot, has professional relationships in Japan, Australia, China, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand, South America, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Africa, India, England, Wales, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Israel and the Philippines. We will develop international rotations based on student interest.

Equipped with early and lengthy exposure to clinical practice, you will be more than prepared
to meet the demands of your career in podiatric medicine.

Excellent Clinical Preparation
We are committed to providing outstanding clinical experiences so that you work with the volume, variety, and diversity of patients that will give you the strongest background for your career. Your preceptors will be passionate clinical faculty experienced in the teaching/learning process.
