Congratulations on your decision to embark on an exciting and impactful career in Public Health.  The College of Health Sciences offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) Program that will distinctively prepare you to become a public health leader and practitioner.  The program is designed to help you serve your community and those around the world. Our curricula integrates your unique talents and skills to apply fundamental public health skills while learning about structural and social determinants of health, and applies public health practices that focus on health justice and equity.

The WesternU MPH offers the option of two concentrations:

Community and Social Behavior Sciences: Become a community health practitioner with hands-on expertise in health promotion and disease prevention programs for medically underserved and underrepresented communities.

Health Policy and Leadership: Become an innovative leader in the healthcare industry,  creating and implementing policies, programs, and transforming healthcare systems with equitable benefits for all.

The WesternU MPH program is situated within a university with eight distinct colleges, including a medical school. Students experience how medicine and public health are integrated and offers both the myopic view of medicine with diagnosis and treatment, while understanding the hyperopic view of population-level factors contributing to health and well-being.
