About the Interview & Interviewers

To help ease the stress of the interview, we want to give you a brief overview of what to expect for the day and share with you the structure and composition of the interview team. Your online interview will last approximately 2 hours, and you will hear from students, faculty and administration about the curriculum, admissions process, financial aid, and student services. You will need to use a web cam/microphone-enabled laptop/computer.

The interview serves as an opportunity for you to demonstrate qualities that could not be fully assessed by your application alone. During the two 15-minute interviews you will be asked behavioral-based questions, meaning that you will be asked to draw from personal experience to formulate your answers. Questions may also address your prior academic records since we are trying to assess your academic readiness for the program.

  • Identity Verification Policy

Proper identification of individuals allows WesternU to provide a safe and secure campus environment. In addition, the United States Federal Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), Public Law 110-315, requires that University confirm that a person enrolling in the University is the person who is completing the enrollment form, and that the student taking an examination is the student who participates in, completes, and receives credit for the course.

It is the policy of Western University of Health Sciences that applicants to the University are required to provide a government issued ID when checking in for an Admissions interview. Applicants who are unable to provide an acceptable form of identification may reschedule their interview if space is available.
