The Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certificate is designed for nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioners who desire or may be currently working in the Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting. Our two-semester certificate curriculum allows you to be eligible to apply for the national certification exam as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. The program has been approved and validated by the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners (AAENP).

Flexible Web Based Program
As the first college in the nation to develop a web-accessible nursing program, we are experienced in providing the support you need to succeed with distance learning. To provide flexibility and eliminate the need to commute daily to campus, we use:
- Web-based curriculum and self-directed learning.
- Procedural skills intensives at the Pomona, CA, campus once per semester. For a complete listing of dates please refer to the academic calendar.
- An Urgent Care and Emergency Department clinical practice immersion completed in your own community.

Our distance-web based hybrid model provides the working FNP ability to enhance and advance their knowledge, skills, and training, integrating the Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) competencies and Scope and Standards for Emergency Nurse Practitioner practice as foundation for role preparation in this dynamic practice setting.
