Congratulations on advancing to this phase of the application process! Completion of the secondary application and receipt of all required documents, including MCAT scores if not already provided, are required prior to consideration of your application. Applications not completed within ten days will result in delayed processing. Please read the Instruction Form carefully before beginning your application as it provides important information on completing and filing your secondary application.
We have already created your account in our application system; however, you will need to reset your password to access the account and continue your application. (Please note: if you have already created a WesternU application account for the 2018 or 2019 application cycle, you can use that same account to access the secondary application.)
If you are a new user, visit our password reset page to change your password and gain access to WesternU’s application system. You will need to enter your e-mail address and birthdate to reset your password.
Beginning with the 2019-2020 application cycle, we are requiring that all applicants to COMP-Pomona or COMP-Northwest take the Altus Assessments’ CASPer online test. CASPer is an online, video-scenario based, situational judgement test designed to measure professional/personal characteristics, such as empathy and communication skills.
We will accept tests taken between May of the application year and February of the anticipated entering year. The test must be taken with each application or reapplication. We will not accept test scores taken in a prior application year.
Sign up for the CASPer on-line test and submit your scores as soon as possible. To ensure accurate and timely receipt of your test scores, please:
- Use the same email address to apply to AACOMAS and to register for the CASPer test. This will facilitate matching your test results with your application.
- Select College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific once for your test results. As with the MCAT, we will use the same scores for both campuses.
More information on the CASPer online test can be found at https://altusassessments.com/.
To expedite processing, we suggest that your letters be submitted through AACOMAS. All electronic or paper letters of recommendation should be sent or posted to Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona campus:
